Specials supply is unlicensed medicinal products required by patients who have clinical needs that cannot be met by licensed products. Subject to strict prescribing rules, specials are vital in the treatment of rare diseases and diseases that affect only a very small proportion of the population. We manufacture specials to full GMP standards, and subject to all of our normal process validation and stability testing procedures, including preservative efficacy data for liquids.
